youth camp this year was in a nutshell.. refreshing..
not up to par as compared to previous years, bluntly.. but certainly much needed..

Oh, in my bus (which i know is kinda random) there's a stalker who stalks my friend, 4 Koreans that never fails to sleep in the bus, a girl that doesn't know how to stop talking, a guy who smells like a sweat drenched towel that hasn't been washed for 5 days, and a Korean and Indian girl from an international school who for some reason sound American in Malaysia (and aren't afraid to show it, sadly)..

CARNIVAL:

..was alright, had a lot of fun and all..

everyone pulled the show together, despite the rain and fasting month and yeah.. other things..

RR ran our 'Bubble Burst' (which is a game, not a drink.. haha..) and 'Finger Football' (yes, also a game.. lol..) stall.. which, despite 'competition' ;P , put up a good fight and got quite good sales..

but hey.. reality check, aint it all for charity?

oh, and i ate Fiji food and drank a Cambodian smoothie..

so, yeah..

we got things done pretty fast.. (finished around.... 9.30pm?)

but it was fun.. haha.. found a lot of funny stuff..

what suppose to be either a boat or a kayak..

donated long time a go by someone.. no one remembers who..

shorts.. (fits me.. hmm..)

and a broken tripod.. WOW...

We found a packet of Mister Potatoes that expired last year.. but hey, it still tasted good to me.. :)

3. GMA

Going to pass up my GMA today.. BiG :) haha.. hope it gets through..

more relieved its done than happy though..

maybe because i dragged it too long already.. not surprisingly

but i had to write an essay on the value of RR to me.. 500 words..

and it really struck me how much it has benefited me.. as a person in every sense..

how RR has made me stronger,

thought me new things.. (not only about the out doors, mind you..),

open me up socially,

and (most importantly..) deepen my relationship with God..

Im not so stressed now..
So im gona talk bout my week.. because i finaly can.. :)

Firstly: my RR chirstian service project is done..

three days of doing what i dont like

painting
dragging my friends to do something inconvinient
painting

but thank God, (and Jims nagging..) im a huge step to completing my GMA..

Confession, I just wanted to get it done for my medal

But Sis Kat passed by on the Wed and mentioned how so very happy the CERC kids would be when they play there the next week..
and guilt and conviction and all that came in..
AND THEN I KNEW ALL THE EFFORT WAS WORTH IT..

Secondly: Annual Camp..

Haha.. Now i officially HATE rain..

It rained every single day!

Sunshine..

Day one: i totally messed up the Council of Fire i was incharge of.. which was practically the night service for camp.. (came from 'Council Fire' meaning a pyramid of stacked wood that results in a huge flame lasting the whole 'council'..)

Screwed it up.. but i was too tired to care..

haha.. apparently so was everyone else..

oh yeah.. thats him..

Day two: i hiked with the Adventure Rangers 9km to another camp site..

respect to the girls man.. i didnt expect them to show anything.. well.. good..

one happy sight.. (after 9km, i mean..)

AND IT RAINED DURING DINNER..

THE DINNER THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO COOK THEMSELVES..

WITH A FIRE.. haha.

They tried cooking in the rain.. (hey.. some succeeded..)

OH oh.. yeah.. at night we had a fire going and a boys-only night took place.. haha.. you know what i mean.. lol.. we shared stories of our EXPERIENCES.. sighing and laughing at each.. and ofcourse passed around TIPS and (lol..) tricks.. HAHAhaaha..

Good fun/bonding time la..
